Adopt from China
Their are various requirements to adopt a child from China. Hera are some of the requirements that the couple must comply: have at least two years of marriage, the age of both spouses should be over 30 years and less than 50, both spouses must be healthy physically and mentally, one of the two spouses must have a stable job, the number of children in the family under 18 years should be less than 5 and the youngest of them must have at least 1 year, none of the adoptive parents may have been convicted for criminal offenses, or have a history for consumption of narcotics or alcohol abuse and/or domestic violence.
Due to the requirements to adopt a child a lot of documents must be acquired liked: Letter of request directed to the China Center of Adoptions Affairs, a Certified International Birth Certificate(multilingual), a Certified International Marriage certificate(multilingual), Job certification, Salary Certification, Medical Certification, Criminal Records, psychological report, certificate of suitability, to name a few. This certificates are subject to change and might be different according to the region the adopters live. Once all the documents are complete they should be send to the local authorities as well as the country embassy in china.
The Chinese Adoptions Centre is responsible for managing the files and giving a resolution. This resolution can take up to to 3 years.
Once all the formalities and paper work has ended the Chinese adoption agency shall determine the minimum time of stay in the country to meet the child and begin a relationship with him. In process the parent must cover all costs and sign paperwork.
